Cut the garlic cloves in small pieces.

Cut the tempeh in small square pieces. You can decide upon the sicze of the squares yourself.
Then you put all pieces in the garlic marinade for at least 15 minutes. It is better to let it stay even longer.
Heat up the pan with oil. You can easily use 100ml oil. Put the tempeh pieces in the hot oil and turn them a couple times until are slightly brown.
